Two new international posters appear for The Raven and The Cold Light Of Day

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

First off, here’s a poster for serial-killer-thriller THE RAVEN that showcases John Cusack… thinking? Oh, but I’m sure that since this is the story of Edgar Allen f***ing Poe helping to track down a murder inspired by his stories he’s thinking about something suitably grisly and serious.  I mean, look at him.  He must have just realized a vital new clue in the case, something essential such as: “You know, I could really go for a glass of Amontillado right now.  Oh, and did I leave the lamp burning in my bedroom? For the very life of me, I cannot recall.  Damn.”

THE RAVEN releases April 27th.

Meanwhile, I’m pretty sure that there is either an entire team of people somewhere tasked with marketing THE COLD LIGHT OF DAY as per usual, or else there’s just one troll in charge of it all.  Now if we go with the “team” theory, it looks suspiciously like the members said team are actively competing for who can make the most direct to DVD-like piece of advertisement, despite the fact the movie stars Bruce Willis, Sigourney Weaver, and the future MAN OF STEEL himself all running around doing spy shit in Spain.

If such a competition is going on I vote that the poster below wins, as it not only carries the poor Photoshop pattern we’ve seen in the past to new heights but also manages to combine the taglines from these two posters into one new, extra awkwardly-phrased idea.
