Neve Campbell stars in horror-themed Red Cross blood drive video

There has been so much back and forth regarding whether or not Neve Campbell is going to be reprising the role of Sidney Prescott in the currently-filming Scream 6, it’s like watching a tennis match. First, Campbell said she had been asked to return, but turned down the offer because she felt the studio was undervaluing her. Then there was a rumor that she had secretly signed on to be in the movie after all. And then she reiterated that she won’t be in Scream 6. So we may not see Sidney again when that movie is released on March 31, 2023 – but in the meantime we can see Campbell, basically in Sidney mode, in a new blood drive video from the American Red Cross. You can watch the video at THIS LINK, or at the bottom of this article.

In horror movies, people make bad decisions leading to lots of wasted blood. Neve Campbell leads the storytelling in a lighthearted look at typical horror movie scenarios, and reminds viewers there’s so much more good they can do with their blood. Several people other than Campbell are involved in horror movie situations in this video. The girl who went to the cheerleader camp next to an abandoned asylum. The couple who went to Dead Lovers Point on Friday the 13th. The person stuck babysitting on the same stormy night when a cannibal escapes from prison… And I’m left wishing I could watch feature length versions of those specific scenarios right now! But this video is cool anyway.
