Last month, the Australian action thriller Seven Snipers received a theatrical release in its home country, but action fans in the United States won’t have to wait much longer to check it out. Well Go USA Entertainment will be giving Seven Snipers a digital release in the U.S. on June 5th – and with that date right around the corner, we’re proud to share a thrilling EXCLUSIVE clip from the film! You can check it out in the embed above.
What is Seven Snipers about?
Directed by Sandra Sciberras – whose previous credits include the drama Caterpillar Wish, the romance Surviving Georgia, the sci-fi horror film The Dustwalker, and the thriller The Green Door, Seven Snipers has the following synopsis:
A retired elite sniper (Radha Mitchell) and her daughter (Annabel Wolfe) live a quiet life in the remote Australian countryside. That peace is shattered when a ruthless warlord (Tim Roth) from her past returns for retribution. Calling in her old crew, she prepares to defend her family in director Sandra Sciberras’ taut action-thriller Seven Snipers.
The Independent and Crime & Punishment screenwriter Andrew O’Keefe wrote the script, and the story he came up with for this one sounds like the set-up for a good time to me.
As the synopsis mentions, the film stars Radha Mitchell (Silent Hill), Annabel Wolfe (Home and Away), and Tim Roth (Reservoir Dogs). Also in the cast are
- Ioan Gruffudd (Fantastic Four)
- Charles Cottier (The Pet Killer)
- Lee Tiger Halley (Boy Swallows Universe)
- Ryan Kwanten (True Blood)
- Pacharo Mzembe (Love and Monsters)
- Damien Ryan (Venus & Adonis: A Film About a Play About a Poem)
- Bianca Wallace (Expired)
Sciberras produced the film with Compton Ross, Ian Kirk, Phil Hunt, Grant Hardie, and Tristan Barr. Executive producers include Charlie Kemball, Jason McNab, and David Redman. James Cannon, John Kearney, Loretta Kindness, Robert Kindness, Elliot Ross, and Fenella Ross are associate producers, with Lav Bodnaruk and Michael Mier as post-production producers.
