Shazam: Fury of the Gods, Helen Mirren, Zachary Levi

Production on Shazam: Fury of the Gods is well underway and we received a good look at the entire Shazam family yesterday thanks to director David F. Sandberg, and now set-photos of Helen Mirren's character have emerged as well. Mirren is playing Hespera, the film's villain who is described as a daughter of Atlas, and she can be seen wearing ornate metal armour in the set-photos found below.

Along with Zachary Levi and Helen Mirren, Shazam: Fury of the Gods will also find Asher Angel returning as Billy Batson, the kid-at-heart superhero who is bestowed with the powers of six gods: the wisdom of Solomon, the strength of Hercules, the stamina of Atlas, the power of Zeus, the courage of Achilles, and the speed of Mercury. Jack Dylan Grazer has also returned as Frederick "Freddy" Freeman. Mirren isn't the only daughter of Atlas in the Shazam sequel, as Rachel Zegler (West Side Story) and Lucy Liu (Elementary) are also onboard to play Gods.

Shazam: Fury of the Gods is currently slated for a June 2, 2023 release.
