Sadako vs Kayako Shudder

The incredibly bizarre RING/GRUDGE crossover flick SADAKO VS. KAYAKO hit Japanese theaters on June 18th, but American J-horror fans haven't had a chance to sink their teeth into it until now. The online horror streaming service Shudder has picked up the rights and will be exclusively streaming the film in late 2016 following its North American premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival.

While Shudder has a good selection, I haven't subscribed yet. But now they're forcing my hand, because there's no way I'm not seeing this movie. Check out the bonkers trailer below!

Tina Tamashiro stars as Suzuka Takagi, a girl who carries Kayako's curse after exploring the abandoned house, while Mizuki Yamamoto plays Yūri Kurahashi, a girl caught between Sadako and Kayako.

SADAKO VS. KAYAKO was directed by Kōji Shiraishi.
