Sinister set for Blu-Ray, DVD release in February

Last Updated on July 23, 2021

When SINISTER hit theaters last year it not only jarred audiences with its undeniably creepy images and diabolical twists, it also impressed critics with its strong story and taut direction (from Scott Derrickson, who co-wrote the screenplay with former AICN writer C. Robert Cargill). Even our own Arrow dug it, calling it a ‘mature and frightening horror film’ that is ‘the real deal’.

Today we have the news that SINISTER is set to hit DVD, Blu-Ray, VOD and Pay-Per-View on February 19 so those who missed it when it was in theaters can finally have the opportunity to see what all of the fuss was about.

In SINISTER, Ethan Hawke plays a true crime novelist struggling to find his next big story who moves his family into a house where the horrific murder of an entire family took place. But after finding a box of home videos in which other families are also brutally murdered, his investigation leads him to a supernatural entity that may be placing his own family in harm’s way.

SINISTER also stars Vincent D’Onofrio, James Ransone, Juliet Rylance and Fred Dalton Thompson.

The SINISTER Blu-ray and DVD will come loaded with bonus features including audio commentaries, deleted scenes and multiple featurettes that provide fascinating insight into the pulse-pounding thriller. You can go ahead and Pre-Order SINISTER on Blu-Ray by clicking HERE or on DVD right HERE.
