The F*cking Black Sheep: Watchmen (Video)

Last Updated on July 21, 2021

Having recently made honorable cases for SANTA'S SLAY, THE SHINING mini-series, and Rob Zombie's HALLOWEEN II, our champion of under-appreciated sequels Lance Vlcek is here to make a case for director Zack Snyder's take on Alan Moore's classic graphic novel WATCHMEN

The film has gathered more than its fair share of haters over the years, but Lance has a different perspective. Does he illustrate some good points and give Zack Snyder's WATCHMEN starring Patrick Wilson and Jeffrey Dean Morgan a new lease on life? We'll leave that for you to find out!

Here's the synopsis:

In an alternate 1985 America, costumed superheroes are part of everyday life. When one of his former comrades is murdered, masked vigilante Rorschach (Jackie Earle Haley) uncovers a plot to kill and discredit all past and present superheroes. As he reconnects with his retired associates, only one of which has true powers, Rorschach glimpses a far-reaching conspiracy involving their shared past and catastrophic consequences for the world's future.

WATCHMEN was directed by Zack Snyder from a screenplay written by David Hayter and Alex Tse based on the graphic novel written by Alan Moore. Lawrence Gordon, Lloyd Levin, and Deborah Snyder produced and the film stars Patrick Wilson, Malin Akerman, Billy Crudup, Matthew Goode, Carla Gugino, Jackie Earle Haley, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan. You can go ahead and snag a copy of the film on Blu-ray over on Amazon RIGHT HERE
