When somebody like geek demi-god Guillermo Del Toro writes a novel about a disease turning the population into hideous vampires, it’s a big deal enough that the first book in the proposed trilogy has a trailer that was recently featured on “Wired”. Titled “The Strain” and co-written with Chuck Hogan, the story will apparently also track the origins of the vampire. And in case you hadn’t guessed, this thing looks awesome. Forget the novel.
