Trio of starletts attached to Downer’s Grove from Myriad Pictures

If you love ensemble (dickless) casts then today’s your day. A team of beauties  consisting of Hayden Panettiere (SCREAM 4), Nikki Reed (CHAIN LETTER) and Rebecca De Mornay (MOTHER’S DAY) will be starring in DOWNER’S GROVE written by Bret Easton Ellis for Myriad Pictures! Nikki Reed (right) starred in CHAIN LETTER which recieved great reviews for its fun kills.

DOWNER’S GROVE was penned by Bret Easton Ellis which was then based on the novel by Michael Hornberg. Nelson McCormick will helm the film.

So what’s the film surrounding a bunch of sweet chicks all about?

The story revolves around a “curse” at the high school in the Chicago suburb of Downer’s Grove. Every year one senior dies a bizarre death before the end of the school year. Christie Swanson (Panettiere) is paranoid that this year, the victim will be her.

The film is being produced by Oren Segal of Media Talent Group, Chiara Trento from Bystander Films Jason Dubin from Mangrove Media. Myriad Pictures and the producers are putting together the financing. The film will shoot in Louisiana in Spring 2011.
