3 new TV spots for Chris Nolan’s Inception ratchet up the intrigue!

Last Updated on July 23, 2021

So how’d y’all feel about that gnarly new INCEPTION trailer last week?

If you, like most of us around here, were enthralled by the sumbitch, prepare your ass (or eyes, rather) for additional enjoyment. Why? A brand new triad of TV spots for Chris Nolan’s brain-melting blockbuster have just landed at our feet, thats’ why. And we’ve got them for you below!

First up is a spot labeled “Job Interview,” in which Ellen Page’s character, like us, learns a little about Dom Cobb, Leo DiCaprio’s character. What stands out is the line of dialogue that reiterates the entire theme of the film, “I can access your mind through your dreams.”

Next up is a spot called “True Potential,” in which Cobb explains how we only use a fraction of our brain’s potential, except of course when dreaming.

Lastly, a spot known as “Simple Idea” gives us some insight to the process of “Inception,” and how it’s power has the ability to change everything.

From the guy who brought us MEMENTO and THE DARK KNIGHT:

Dom Cobb (DiCaprio) is a skilled thief, the absolute best in the dangerous art of extraction, stealing valuable secrets from deep within the subconscious during the dream state, when the mind is at its most vulnerable. Cobb’s rare ability has made him a coveted player in this treacherous new world of corporate espionage, but it has also made him an international fugitive and cost him everything he has ever loved. Now Cobb is being offered a chance at redemption. One last job could give him his life back but only if he can accomplish the impossible—inception. Instead of the perfect heist, Cobb and his team of specialists have to pull off the reverse: their task is not to steal an idea but to plant one. If they succeed, it could be the perfect crime. But no amount of careful planning or expertise can prepare the team for the dangerous enemy that seems to predict their every move. An enemy that only Cobb could have seen coming. This summer, your mind is the scene of the crime.

INCEPTION bends theaters July 16th!
