American Horror Story: Asylum promotional video round-up

Goddamn! News is breaking so frequently on new AMERICAN HORROR STORY that it’s becoming a real pain in the ass to keep track of it all. That said, it’s easily worth it once you get a tease at exactly what FX has in store for us this October.

First up, we have two sets of cast promotional videos. The first gets us a little more up close and personal with the doomed ensemble on each bed, with flashes of little details to thematically distinguish them. The second, set to a creepily rendered version of “Que Cera”, features the main characters laid out on hospital beds in a row, culminating in an eerie tracking shot toward evil nun Jessica Lange (pictured less scarily below)

Then we have a brand spankin’ new teaser video, this time involving a fork, some skin, and very creepy foley work. It sort of reminds me of the VHS big box for the movie MEAT EATER. Anyone remember that? The bloody fork on that thing still makes me queasy.

Anyhoo, AMERICAN HORROR STORY: ASYLUM stars Zachary Quinto, James Cromwell, Adam Levine, Clea Duvall, Chloe Sevigny, and Joseph Fiennes. It premieres on FX October 17th. Check your local listings and enjoy the creepy videos, below.
