Bousman talks Repo

Truth be told… I could really care less about REPO! THE GENETIC OPERA, but it’s my sworn duty to bring you all news pertaining to this great horror genre.. So here I am.

Yesterday, the man himself Darren Lynn Bousman updated his MySpace blog with loads of info pertaining to REPO! along with what we can except in the coming weeks. Here’s the basic updates Bousman gives us:

-The release date will be announced within the next couple weeks.
-A trailer for REPO! will debut at ComicCon.
-A new still. (Above, click to check out a larger shot.)
-Music tracks for the film will start to become public next month.
-REPO! will be screening at Fantasia in Montreal on July 18.
-The official site will be updated on July 1.

So it looks like REPO! is set to start some major marketing next month, so I’m assuming the release date won’t be too far off. REPO! definitely has it’s audience out there, I’m just not a part of it. One reason is because as soon as I saw that July 18, only one thing came to mind. HaHahahAha. Who knows though, maybe REPO! is going to turn out completely unlike I expect and I’ll actually love it? Hopefully we’ll find out soon.
