Last Updated on July 23, 2021

Back at the beginning of the week I gave you all a long-awaited update on Richard Raaphorst’s FRANKENSTEIN’S ARMY. That update had the film finally starting production! Here we are now, just a few days later, and we’ve got even more news about the flick!

Not only have we been treated to a couple of behind the scenes shots from FRANKENSTEIN’S ARMY but we’ve also got a cast rundown! It’s good to see this thing finally rolling! Anyway, you can check out the behind the scenes shots by scrolling below. Here’s the cast announced thus far: Alexander Mercury, Joshua Sasse, Luke Newberry, Andrei Zayats, Mark Stevenson, Hon Ping Tang, Cristina Catalina, Robert Gwylim, and Jan De Lukovicz. Apparently it will be announced soon who scored the highly-coveted role of Viktor, a charismatic but wildly megalomaniacal scientist whose experiments with the living dead could turn the tide for Hitler’s Nazi forces.

FRANKENSTEIN’S ARMY takes place toward the end of World War II, as Russian soldiers push into eastern Germany and stumble across a secret Nazi lab, one that has unearthed and begun experimenting with the journal of one Dr. Viktor Frankenstein. The scientists have used the legendary Frankenstein’s work to assemble an army of super-soldiers stitched together from the body parts of their fallen comrades – a desperate Hitler’s last ghastly ploy to escape defeat.

FRANKENSTEIN’S ARMY just wrapped it’s first week of production in Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic so we’ve still got a ways to go with this one.
