More trailer madness for you folks out there! This time it’s the spoilerlicious promo trailer for THE THAW that we’re hosting. You’ll recall (hopefully) that THE THAW is the Arctic-set, parasite-riddled thriller which stars Val Kilmer, SUPERBAD cutie Martha MacIsaac, and Aaron “Brother of Iceman” Ashmore. It comes to us from director Mark A. Lewis, and seems to borrow amply from THE THING as well as a 1st season X-Files episode entitled ICE that I’m sure some of you remember.

At a remote Arctic research station, four ecology students discover the real horror of global warming is not the melting ice, but what’s frozen within it. A prehistoric parasite is released from the carcass of a Woolly Mammoth upon the unsuspecting students who are forced to quarantine and make necessary sacrifices, or risk infecting the rest of the world.
