First poster for Clint Eastwood's Hereafter gives us a spooky Matt Damon

09.23.2010by: Jared Pacheco

One flick I've been wicked excited about since I first heard about it is Clint Eastwood's HEREAFTER, and I'm sure I'm not the only one! A director like Clint Eastwood with an actor like Matt Damon tackling a supernatural flick? You can bet your ass I'm stoked! You guys should be too! It's with that excitement that I come here on this fine Thursday morning to bring you all a look at the first official one-sheet for the feature!

Courtesy of that badass poster site JoBlo's Pimpin' Poster Palace we've got a look at the first poster for HEREAFTER. Nothing too exciting here... Actually it's got a slight 'floating head' feel to it but hey.. It's Matt Damon and the thing isn't half bad. Want to judge for yourself? Just scroll down to take a gander at the one-sheet then click through to check that shite out in high-res. Or you can just click right over HERE. Whichever floats your boat.

HEREAFTER weaves three different stories: there's a reluctant Bay Area psychic, a London youngster grieving the death of his twin brother and a French journalist who was caught up in a tsunami, killed by the raging water and then revived after a strange, spectral experience.

Along with Damon the flick also stars Cecile De France, Bryce Dallas Howard (below), Jay Mohr, Richard Kind, Mylene Jampanoi, Jenifer Lewis and Steve Schirripa . It's set to bow into theaters October 22nd!

The movie looks great, but they are kicking themselves in the balls with the way they are marketing it. People will leave disappointed now because they will be expecting a different type of movie. :/

Not really digging that poster. I think that extreme close up is a little much. However, I loved in Bumbray's review how he said the movie is nothing like the trailers make it look to be, so in that sense, I'm very excited to see it.
