Last Updated on July 23, 2021

Is it just me or is this whole ‘found-footage’ craze that’s hitting the genre right now a little … well… crazy? So PARANORMAL ACTIVITY made some money… big deal… The thing wasn’t even that good! But since when does that matter? That shite made money so whenever there’s money to be made you can bet your ass Hollywood is going to make it.

Enough of my rambling though. Where is all this going? Well today we’ve got an update on The Weinstein’s fast-tracked found-footage flick APOLLO 18, which is actually somewhat intriguing and sports the tagline “There’s a reason we’ve never gone back to the moon.”

Now we don’t know much about this new film other than the fact that it’s coming from director Gonzalo Lopez Gallego. To help get people talking it seems APOLLO 18 has decided to dabble in a little viral marketing. How so you might ask? Well over at the flick’s official website you’ll find an intriguing document that produces more questions than answers. Don’t believe me? Just scroll on down below to check it out.

APOLLO 18 is purported to be footage from a secret and covert mission to the moon which ends up in revealing evidence of new lifeforms. According to sources, the majority of the story takes place in the rocket in between the Earth and the Moon.

APOLLO 18 is on the ultra-fast track with a March 4, 2011 release date already pegged so you can expect more on the project soon! As always be sure to keep it here for anything and everything APOLLO 18 as it comes our way.
