Helen Mirren joins Anthony Hopkins in Alfred Hitchcock & The Making of Psycho

We’re flirting with almost a year since writing about Sacha Gervasi’s adaptation of ALFRED HITCHCOCK AND THE MAKING OF PSYCHO. At the time, word came in that the great Anthony Hopkins was set to portray the iconic filmmaker, and now it seems an equally impressive performer is joining the production!

According to THR, Dame Helen Mirren (pictured) is in talks to star in the film as Hitch’s wife, Alma Reville. No official deal has been met, but one seems imminent, as an April start date is slated for the Fox Searchlight endeavor.
