Lauren Ashley Carter is an actress that has been on my radar for a while now. That happens when you star in as many quality indie horror flicks as she has. Let’s count a few of them out including DARLING, THE MIND’S EYE, POD, BEREAVEMENT, JUG FACE, and THE WOMAN.
That’s an impressive list, right? Well, get ready to add an all-new classic (hopefully) to that prestigious resume as Carter’s new film IMITATION GIRL will be hitting VOD tomorrow, March 16 and select theaters April 20.

Synopsis:
A young woman materializes in the southwestern desert, and every step she takes teaches her about her new world and body. As she starts her new life, she learns she has a twin with whom she shares more than an outward appearance.
IMITATION GIRL is written and directed by Natasha Kermani and stars Lauren Ashley Carter, Marsha Stephanie Blake, Adam David Thompson, Catherine Mary Stewart, and Lewis Black. The film hits VOD tomorrow, March 16 and select theaters April 20.
