High schoolers waste zombies in Freakish season 2 trailer

Freakish

I still haven't had a chance to check out the first season of the Hulu series Freakish, but I intend to get to it because it sounds like fun:

The series follows a group of students who gather for school detention on a Saturday at Kent High. Other students are on campus as well, but involved in various activities (basketball, debate prep, music, etc.). When a nearby chemical plant explodes, they must work together to find a way to survive with only limited resources and protect themselves from those who have turned into freakish zombie-like creatures as a result of the fallout.

The fight against freakish zombie-like creatures continues in the upcoming second season, and a trailer for the season has arrived online that makes me even more determined to watch this show sooner than later. In a boarded-up high school, a group of teenagers use whatever weapons they have on hand (including a flamethrower!) to waste attacking creatures. That's all there is to it, and that's all I need to see to be convinced that I should be watching Freakish.

Season 1 of the show is currently available for viewing on Hulu. Season 2 will reach the streaming service on October 18th.
