The Shelter John Fallon Michael Pare

We've been writing about John Fallon's directorial effort THE SHELTER for some time now, but after all that waiting you can finally grab yourself a physical copy for yourself! How's that for a Happy New Year? The film, which the LA TIMES has called "a concise genre piece that doubles as a heavily metaphorical character sketch” is currently available on store shelves, but you can also order your copy RIGHT HERE or get an autographed copy (by Fallon) HERE! Here are the special features you can explore:

– VIDEO INTERVIEW WITH STAR MICHAEL PARE
– AUDIO COMMENTARY WITH WRITER/DIRECTOR JOHN FALLON
– STORYBOARDS, TEASER AND TRAILER
– VIDEO TOUR OF THE HOUSE LOCATION

To celebrate this release, we also have an exclusive clip from the film for you! It shows star Michael Paré making a 911 call. Considering that it's a horror-ish movie, you can probably guess that it… doesn't go well. Check it out below!

In THE SHELTER:  Vagrant Thomas Jacob (Michael Paré of "Eddie and the Cruisers" fame) finds shelter for the night when he falls upon a seemingly abandoned two-story home with its lights on and an inviting front door. Once inside, his past comes to haunt him and he soon realizes that he is not alone. There's a supernatural force on hand and it won't let him leave. Destiny has brought Thomas to this place but will he survive the ordeal?

The film also stars Gayle James, Rachel Whittle, Lauren Thomas, Daena Turner, and Amy Wickenheiser.

You can keep up to date with THE SHELTER on Twitter, Facebook, and at the film's Official Blog.
