Nothing can stop FBI agents Mulder and Scully from doing their jobs, and the same can be said about the marketing department at Fox, as they have cut together yet another new promo for the 1993 – 2002 series The X-Files' upcoming six episode revival. The keyword in this promo is "danger".

Fox has also unveiled some new key art for the show that can be viewed below.

Twenty-two years after playing Mulder and Scully for the first time, David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson are reprising the roles in this short new season. They are being joined by William B. Davis, Mitch Pileggi, Bruce Harwood, Tom Braidwood, Dean Haglund, Robbie Amell, Lauren Ambrose, Rhys Darby, and Kumail Nanjiani.

Airing on Fox on Sunday, January 24, the premiere episode

centers on Mulder (Duchovny) and Scully (Anderson) investigating Annet Mahendru's character, who is believed to be a "possible alien abductee," according to Joel McHale's character, a conservative talk show host who gives Mulder and Scully the tip to investigate her.

The second episode will air the following night in the show's regular timeslot, Mondays at 8pm EST.
