Now that online content is getting so immersive, horror movies are jumping on that to brings the scares right up in your mug. DON'T BREATHE is the latest to employ the trend of 360° videos, dumping you right into the middle of a scene from the film, complete with horrifying plunges into darkness. Directed by Fede Alvarez from a screenplay he wrote with Rodo Sayagues, produced by Sam Raimi and Robert Tapert, and starring Jane Levy, Daniel Zovatto, Dylan Minnette, and Stephen Lang, DON'T BREATHE has the following synopsis:
Three teens who get away with perfectly planned home robberies have set their sights on one last payout that will get them out of crime forever. Their target: a reclusive blind man with millions of dollars in hiding. But as soon as they break into his home, the tables are turned and they find themselves trapped and fighting for survival against a psychopath with secrets of his own.
DON'T BREATHE is scheduled for an August 26th release.
