Michael Bay offers updates on the next two Transformers movies?!

Last Updated on July 23, 2021

A couple nights ago I was talking to a buddy of mine about Michael Bay. Though my friend has much disdain for Bay, I pointed out that he actually enjoys most of Bay’s films. That seems to be the case with most people. Personally, when I watch a Michael Bay movie I go in expecting a Michael Bay movie, and I’m rarely disappointed! But that doesn’t mean I want more TRANSFORMERS movies…

Don’t get me wrong, the movies are fun for the most part… but they have seemed to run their course, no? But alas there’s still money to be made so Bay and company are indeed moving forward with not only a TRANSFORMERS 4, but a TRANSFORMERS 5 as well!

In a recent interview with the LA Times Hero Complex blog regarding Universal Studios’ new TRANSFORMERS ride, Bay dropped the following tidbits regarding the upcoming films:

There’s plenty more Transformer action to come with a major new video game release, “Transformers: Fall of Cybertron,” due in August and another Bay movie in the works. (The director, by the way, says that the fourth film will include some redesign of the robots and an entirely new cast. He also said it will be his last and set the franchise up “for the next guy.”)

So there you have it folks! With a brand new cast set for TRANSFORMERS 4, Bay and company are going back and retooling that shite. Then he’s handing that shite off to another poor soul. We’ll of course keep our eyes and ears open for more TRANSFORMERS updates as production on the fourth film gets underway so be sure to check back for that as it comes our way.
