More Missed Cast

Last week we learned that Shannyn Sossamon was starring in the remake of Takashi Miike’s ONE MISSED CALL, and that the film had just started filming in Atlanta, GA. Today Fangoria got more casting news, and it’s utterly boombastic!


Ed Harris, who blew us away in last year’s A HISTORY OF VIOLENCE, and Gabriel Byrne, who played the devil in END OF DAYS, have both landed roles in ONE MISSED CALL, though what part they’ll actually play is still uncertain. Holy nice-casting Batman!


Both Harris and Byrne are both great actors, and are a part of the older generation that seem to be missing from the recent horror scene (yup- these guys won’t be seen on the WB), so it’s good to have them back at it- and good to know that this remake just got a whole lot cooler.
