New poster, release date for McKee and Sivertson’s All Cheerleaders Die

If you've been looking forward to checking out Lucky McKee and Chris Sivertson's darkly funny horror film ALL CHEERLEADERS DIE then we've got some news worth cheering about.

Our brothers in blood over at Fangoria have learned that RLJ/Image Entertainment will release ALL CHEERLEADERS DIE, written and directed by Lucky McKee and Chris Sivertson, on VOD May 8 and in theaters June 13. On top of that, they also landed the latest poster/key art for the flick, which you can check out below.

As a fan of Lucky McKee's previous efforts, which include MAY, THE WOMAN, and THE WOODS, I was looking forward to checking out ALL CHEERLEADERS DIE and finally got the chance to do so this past weekend at Mad Monster Party in Charlotte NC. I can honestly say it was worth the wait. I had a lotta fun with this one and I'm certain you will, too. So get ready to break out the pom pom's and have a good time with ALL CHEERLEADERS DIE when it hits VOD on May 8 and theaters on June 13.

When tragedy rocks Blackfoot High, rebellious outsider Mäddy Killian shocks the student body by joining the cheerleading squad. This decision drives a rift between Mäddy and her ex-girlfriend Leena Miller – a loner who claims to practice the dark arts. After a confrontation with the football team, Mäddy and her new cheerleader friends are sent on a supernatural roller coaster ride which leaves a path of destruction none of them may be able to escape.
