Peep some knife-throwing action in newest clip from Darren Lynn Bousman's The Devil's Carnival

Jul. 11, 2012by: Jared Pacheco

Just the other day I was telling you all how Darren Lynn Bousman's latest musical opus THE DEVIL'S CARNIVAL would be beginning it's encore tour at Comic-Con. Are you excited about that? Of course you are! Which means you'll be stoked to see today's update!

Thanks to the guys over at Bloody-Disgusting we've got a look at a brand new clip from the film, which features the track "Trust Me." In the clip we've got Terrance Zdunich as 'Lucifer,' Marc Senter as 'The Scorpion,' Emilie Autumn as 'Painted Doll' and Jessica Lowndes as 'Tamara.' Oh and there's some knife-throwing action! Check that shite out below.

Sinners are invited to a theme park where they endure the repetition of their transgressions. What chances do a conniving kleptomaniac, a gullible teenager, and an obsessed father stand when facing their own moral failings? Lucifer and his colorful cast of singing carnies invite you to grab a ticket to The Devils Carnival to find out!

But that's not all folks. Darren Lynn Bousman and Terrance Zdunich are currently running a contest where they want to hear YOUR cover of "Trust Me," the song from the new clip. You'll want to film yourself singing the hell out of that song then post it to YouTube before Saturday night at Midnight. The winner of the contest will get their video played in front of thousands of people on the Encore Tour! Check out the full details in the banner below.

Speaking of the Encore Tour, to buy your tickets for that shite head right over HERE. Starring Terrance Zdunich, Bill Moseley, Briana Evigan, Emilie Autumn, J. Larose, Alexa Vega (below), Ogre, Paul Sorvino, Marc Senter and Sean Patrick Flanery, THE DEVIL'S CARNIVAL begins it's Encore Tour this Friday at Comic-Con!

I was unfortunately dissapointed with The Devil's Carnival. They entire film was compacted into 45 minutes which lead to everything being VERY rushed and there was next to zero character development. If they would have made it a full lenghth film, it would have been much better! They hype up Alexa Vega but you see literally 30 seconds of her. None of the characters had more than 2 or 3 minutes screen time. When the film ended, most of the theater was looking around very pissed off. Oh Well...
