Up for touring in about month is A HAUNTED HOUSE, the Marlon Wayans conceived genre lampoon. So in the tradition of having a good time, Wayans is here to introduce the fresh red-band trailer for the Michael Tiddes film. Said intro features the language of a longshoreman, so if you're at work, plug in the old headphones before letting her rip!

Starring alongside Wayans is Nick Swardson, David Koechner, Liana Mendoza (below), Essence Atkins, Jamie Noel, Robin Thede and Affion Crockett, doing so:

In an outrageous send up of the Paranormal Activity movies, The Devil Inside and other “found footage” movies, A HAUNTED HOUSE features young couple Malcolm (Marlon Wayans) and Kisha (Essence Atkins) who have just moved in to their dream house. As they settle in, they quickly find they’re not alone. But it’s not the house that’s haunted, it’s Malcolm’s girlfriend who is possessed by a demon. Malcolm hires everyone from a priest to modern day ghostbusters to rid her of this unwelcome intruder, determined not to let the evil spirit ruin his relationship… or, more importantly, his sex life.

A HAUNTED HOUSE is open to the public January 11th.

Extra Tidbit: This up or lower the bar of expectations?

Does this funny shit look as funny as Scary Movie? Well, no. But, I laughed during the trailer. A person figured that the green band had to play it safe. This red band reveals that A Haunted House is, in fact, funny. Furthermore, the found-footage genre needs lampooning in the worse way. I was sold from this trailer's beginning. Every fucken found-footage movie begins with some mysterious 911 call, and that call is supposed to set the tone and creep-out the audience. I was glad to see that
