A new trailer and poster for Levan Gabriadze’s on-line-set horror feature UNFRIENDED (formerly CYBERNATURAL) has landed online to haunt you.

The film was picked up by Universal Pictures back in October, who re-titled it to UNFRIENDED and slapped it with an April 17, 2015 release. Our own Chris Bumbray got to peep it at Fantasia last year (read his review HERE) and described it as "a clever spin on the found footage genre, and a tight little horror flick that’s good for a solid scare or two."

The film was produced by Timur Bekmambetov and it goes like this:

While video chatting one night, six high school friends receive a Skype message from a classmate who killed herself exactly one year ago. At first they think it’s a prank, but when the girl starts revealing the friends’ darkest secrets, they realize they are dealing with something from beyong this world, something that wants them dead. Told entirely from a young girl’s computer desktop, UNFRIENDED redefines “found footage” for a new generation of teens.

UNFRIENDED stars Shelley Hennig, Moses Storm, Renee Olstead, Will Peltz, Jacob Wysocki, Courtney Halverson, and Heather Sossaman. Look for it in theaters on April 17.
