Sleep No More Phillip Guzman Brea GrantRLJE Films' VOD, Digital, and DVD release of DEAD AWAKE director Phillip Guzman's new horror film SLEEP NO MORE is less than a week away, and to give a preview of the horror that awaits viewers in this one, today we have an EXCLUSIVE clip to share from the film.

SLEEP NO MORE was written by Jason Murphy and is not related to Guzman's previous film, even though they're both horror films that deal with sleep and sleep deprivation. This one is about

five graduate students who are conducting a study to prove the theory that once you’ve passed 200 hours without sleep, you will never need sleep again. As the hours tick by and their struggle to stay awake intensifies, they each start to have strange and unsettling experiences. Visions from the past, violent impulses and terrifying waking nightmares begin to take hold and turn this experiment into a desperate fight for survival.

In the clip below, we get to see the toll that sleep deprivation takes on one of the characters. It doesn't appear to be a pleasant experience at all – but I wouldn't expect going 200 hours without sleep to be pleasant, even if it didn't come with visions, violence, and waking nightmares.

SLEEP NO MORE stars Brea Grant, Keli Price, Lukas Gage, Yasmine Aker, Stephen Ellis, and Christine Dwyer.

RLJE Films will be releasing the film on October 2nd.
