‘The Monster is Within’ this new clip from Hemlock Grove

On the first night of WonderCon 2013, Netflix debuted a clip from the Eli Roth-produced “Hemlock Grove” that gives us a taste of the type of werewolf transformation we can expect from the series and I gotta say that it does a better job of getting genre fans excited than the first lackluster trailer we saw a couple of weeks back. Described as being a riveting one-hour murder mystery, “Hemlock Grove” revolves around the residents of a former Pennsylvania steel town. When 17-year-old Brooke Bluebell is brutally murdered, any of Hemlock’s peculiar inhabitants – or killer creatures – could be suspects. Through the investigation, the town’s seamier side is exposed, revealing nothing is what it seems.

Famke Janssen, Dougray Scott, Bill Skarsgård, Landon Liboiron, Penelope Mitchell and Freya Tingley star.

All 13 episodes of “Hemlock Grove” will be available on Netflix on April 19.
