This México Bárbaro trailer is going to rip you apart

MÉXICO BÁRBARO (aka BARBAROUS MEXICO) is the Mexican anthology flick we didn't know we needed. In this new trailer, gruesome sights abound. Just because you might need to read subtitles doesn't mean you won't lose your lunch. Chock full of practical gore and grisly acts pulled straight from Mexican folklore, if the film lives up to even a tenth of the trailer, it will be one of the most exciting flicks of the year. Check out the trailer below!

MÉXICO BÁRBARO presents haunting stories that have been woven into the fabric of a nation's culture, some passed down through the centuries and some new, but all equally frightening. Stories of boogeymen, trolls, ghosts, monsters, Aztec sacrifices and of course the Day of the Dead all come together in urban and rural settings to create an anthology that is as original as it is familiar and as important as it is horrifying.

The directors are Jorge Michel Grau (WE ARE WHAT WE ARE), Isaac Ezban, Laurette Flores, Ulises Guzmán, Edgar Nito, Lex Ortega, Gigi Saul Guerrero (EL GIGANTE), and Aaron Soto. Their stories include

a modern take on Hitchcock’s REAR WINDOW, a tale set in a strip club on the Day of the Dead, a rash of corpse stealing, ancient savage Mexican traditions, and decomposing dolls, among other gleefully grisly goings-on.

MÉXICO BÁRBARO will rock DVD and VOD on November 3rd, 2015.
