Trailer and stills for The Presence, starring Mira Sorvino

Somehow this one slipped under the radar for us, but better late than never, right? I’m referring to THE PRESENCE, a thriller starring Mira Sorvino that just screened at the Dallas International Film Festival. Prompted by that revelation, I dug up the teaser trailer and a group of stills from the flick, which you can peep below. Seems like an old-fashioned spooky good time!

Produced by Daniel Myrick (co-director of THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT) and directed by Tom Provost,THE PRESENCE is concerns a woman (Sorvino) who travels to an isolated cabin where she finds herself stalked by an apparition (Shane West) who has come to inhabit her space as his own. With the unexpected arrival of the woman’s boyfriend (Golden Globe nominee Justin Kirk), the dark spirit’s haunting grows more obsessive. Soon the woman begins to exhibit weirdly irrational behavior as the thin line between sanity and possession begins to unravel.

THE PRESENCE stars Sorvino, Shane West, Justin Kirk and Tony Curran. Once we get some release date news for it, we’ll pass it along!
