"Your worst fear is your only hope." Moo-Haha.

Writer-director Justin P. Lange's debut feature THE DARK starring Nadia Alexander, Toby Nichols, and Karl Markovics is all set to hit theaters and VOD October 26th, 2018. And today we have the film's trailer and poster for your viewing pleasure.

Part gothic fairytale and part chilling horror, director Justin P. Lange's debut feature balances rich imagery with a brutal and bloody story of unlikely kindred spirits who must defend themselves against the villainous powers of the 'normal' world.

Personally, I don't think the world needs another horror project that goes by the name THE DARK. But generic title aside, I have heard nothing but good things about this film since it's been making the festival rounds. It landed on my must-see list a while back so I know I will be giving it a peek once it hits this Halloween.

You can check out the poster and trailer below and then make sure to hit us up and let us know what you think! The film takes place

On the outskirts of a small town where lies Devil's Den, a mysterious tract of woods where many have entered, but no one has ever left. The local rumor is that the spirit of a young girl who was horrifically murdered there haunts and hunts in this dense forest, brutally slaying anyone who dares to step into her terrain. When a man with a dark past crosses her path, a series of events are set in motion that may lead to a peculiar kind of redemption for two tragically tortured souls.

The film is written and directed by Justin P. Lange and stars Nadia Alexander (THE SINNER, SEVEN SECONDS), Toby Nichols (IRON FIST, TRUMBO) and Karl Markovics (THE COUNTERFEITERS). Once again, the movie will be hitting theaters and VOD via Dark Sky Films on October 26th, 2018
