Trailer: Rooster Teeth’s new horror-comedy Blood Fest

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

First off let it be known that I have next to zero idea who or what Rooster Teeth is. From what I remember (and correct me if I'm wrong here) the name refers to a group of comedians that have popular YouTube videos. Am I close? Either way, it looks like Rooster Teeth has a killer new horror-comedy heading our way called BLOOD FEST.

The movie takes place at a horror movie convention were seemingly out of nowhere all the guest and attendees turn into demons (or something) and our rag-tag group of nerdy friends must fight for survival. I'm all for this winning premise and the trailer which just premiered over on EW seems to confirm my belief that the flick will be bloody good horror times.

You can check out the trailer for yourself below and then make sure to hit us up and let us know what you think of the movie thus far in the comments below or on social media!

Synopsis via EW:

In the new horror-comedy Blood Fest, film fans flock to a festival celebrating the most iconic horror movies, only to discover that the charismatic showman behind the event has a diabolical agenda. As attendees start dying off, three teenagers with more horror-film wits than real-world knowledge must band together and battle through every madman, monstrosity, and terrifying scenario if they have any hope of surviving.

The film is written and directed by Owen Egerton, produced by Rooster Teeth, and stars Robbie Kay, Seychelle Gabriel, Jacob Batalon, Barbara Dunkelman, Tate Donovan, Nick Rutherford, Chris Doubek, Rebecca Wagner, and Zachary Levi.
