Trailer shows that The Possession Experiment has shocking results

I found the trailer for director Scott Hansen's THE POSSESSION EXPERIMENT to be quite surprising. When a trailer begins with low quality footage of a character introducing himself and speaking directly into the camera, my immediate thought is, "This movie isn't going to be for me." Thankfully, it turns out that this film isn't just another possession-themed found footage movie like THE DEVIL INSIDE. It does deal with a documentary crew, but it's not found footage, and as the trailer goes on it reveals that this film is going to be much more intense, brutal, and gory than you might expect. Plus there's Bill Moseley!

Scripted by Mary Dixon from a story by Hansen, THE POSSESSION EXPERIMENT has the following synopsis: 

When college student Brandon Jensen takes on a theology project, he taps into another side that had been hidden away from him.

Greg Travis, Chris Minor, Jake Brinn, Nicky Jasper, and Angelo Reyes star with Moseley.

The North American distributor of THE POSSESSION EXPERIMENT is expected to be announced shortly. The film will be seeking international distribution at the Cannes Film Festival next month.
