Want some Predators goods? We’ve got video, pics & a website!

Back at the beginning of the month we learned that Mr. Robert Rodriguez was planning on unleashing his PREDATORS on us at the South by Southwest Film Festival. Well that shite kicked off today and we’ve got the PREDATORS goods to prove it!

Where do these goods come from? Well the flick’s brand new official website! That’s where! Over at Predators-Movie.com you’ll find an awesome behind the scenes video from the film introduced by Rodriguez as well as some concept art for the Predator Hound.

Now along with the synopsis that’s basically all the site offers. Sure it’s not a lot… but it’s definitely something! I’ve also gone ahead and took it upon myself to snatch some awesome screen grabs from the video, check all those out below and enjoy! Just click through on any of the shots to head over to the official site. In the video we get to see Adrien Brody, Laurence Fishburne and Alice Braga getting their badass on but not much from anyone else. Check that shite out below or over in our videos section. Oh did I mention the trailer will debut on the site this Thursday? Because it will! So keep it here for that!

A group of elite warriors come to realize they’ve been brought together on an alien planet… as prey. With the exception of a disgraced physician, they are all cold-blooded killers – mercenaries, Yakuza, convicts, death squad members – human “predators” that are now being systemically hunted and eliminated by a new breed of alien Predators.

While it’s definitely got a contemporary feel to it I’m seeing shades of the original PREDATOR. One of my main complaints is the cheap feel to it, but I’ll chalk that up to this being a behind the scenes video, hence no special effects. After Rodriguez and company fine-tooth this bad boy I get the feeling it’ll be looking awesome! What says you guys? You feel the old school PREDATOR vibe or will this just be another ALIEN VS PREDATOR?

PREDATORS stars Topher Grace, Adrien Brody, Danny Trejo, Laurence Fishburne, Alice Braga, Walton Goggins and Derek ‘Jason Voorhees’ Mears as one of the Predators.
