A barrage of epic, awesome concept art by Andy Park for Marvel’s The Avengers

A nice heaping helping of concept art from this year’s biggest film, THE AVENGERS, has hit the net, courtesy of concept artist Andy Park, who created an amazing array of vibrant, awesome pieces for the film, some of which was used, some not.  There are variations of the S.H.I.E.L.D. uniforms, Cap, Hawekeye, and Black Widow’s duds, and a number of storyboard sequences.  All told, a really cool look at the art process that went into creating the biggest superhero movie of all time.

Park is currently working on THOR: THE DARK WORLD and CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER, amongst other things, which is pretty bad ass.  I can’t wait to see his work from those films as well.  Scroll through the sweet pics and be sure to check out Andy’s art gallery, which showcases more art from THE AVENGERS, as well as a number of fantasy/sci-fi landscapes, character images, and his work on God of War.  Very cool, indeed!

Artwork Assemble!:

THE AVENGERS is currently available on blu-ray/DVD.  THE AVENGERS 2 will hit theaters on May 1, 2015.
