Rumor: A preview for the Batman v Superman trailer is coming this Thursday

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

We had previously reported that the first trailer for BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE would be attached to MAD MAX: FURY ROAD, however it seems as though we may be seeing it sooner than we thought. Both El Mayimbe and Collider have reported that we should see a quick preview of said trailer this Thursday courtesy of Zack Synder who will be posting it on his Twitter. How quick will that preview be? Five seconds. Lovely.

El Mayimbe let out another surprising reveal, which was not confirmed by Collider, which states that the trailer will screen in front of AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON. Imagine that, Marvel and DC getting along.

Should this rumour pan out, I suspect we'll find out more on Thursday at 9am PST when we could see five seconds of a trailer. Groan. The teaser for the teaser is something that annoys me to no end but I know I'll be right there with the rest of you, watching it and cursing my lack of self control.

El Mayimbe also mentions that you'll be able to sign up to view the full trailer in a theater on April 20th. Didn't STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS attempt something like that last year which lead to the trailer being released online soon after? Speaking of Star Wars, Thursday at 9am also happens to be a little before the STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS panel at Star Wars Celebration; it's going to be a busy day.

AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON will hit theaters on May 1, 2015 while MAD MAX: FURY ROAD won't arrive until May 15, 2015; a chance to see one what could be one of the biggest trailers of the year two weeks earlier than we last thought? I want to believe.
