Biel gets Nailed

Jessica Biel and Jake Gyllenhaal are attached to star in the upcoming David O. Russell (I HEART HUCKABEES) political comedy NAILED. It gets a little complicated so see if you can follow me: Biel plays a small town secretary who, in a bizarre workplace accident, has a nail driven through her head. Said injury elicits wild sexual urges and as she travels to Washington, DC to fight for the rights of people with similar injuries she meets up with an opportunistic senator (Gyllenhaal) who takes advantage of her increased sex drive. For those of you who tuned out halfway through that, let me reiterate the hot points: Biel, wild sexual urges, increased sex drive. That’s all you need to know. Neither Biel nor Gyllenhaal have officially signed on to the film but producers are currently shopping the project at the American Film Market. Russell co-wrote the script with Kristin Gore, daughter of Nobel Peace Prize winner Al Gore. Should the project sell and Biel and Gyllenhaal sign contracts, filming would begin in January. Gyllenhaal has BROTHERS with Tobey Maguire and Natalie Portman and an untitled Doug Liman film still to go into production while Biel recently signed on to DIE A LITTLE.
