Black Widow tames Hulk and Tony explains things in new Age of Ultron clips

04.13.2015

Earlier today, we shared an extended clip of the highly anticipated Hulk vs Hulkbuster fight from AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON. Now, here are two more teases from the Joss Whedon sequel featuring Hulk and Tony Stark but in two very different scenes. First, we have a look at the snowy forest sequence that has Black Widow calming down Bruce Banner in his Hulk form in a way that Betsy Ross was never able to accomplish. Rumors have abounded that there would be a romantic subplot featuring these two and this scene shows it will work wonderfully in execution.

The second clip has the assembled Avengers arguing over the merits of using Loki's scepter (I would infer from what we know so far). Tony Stark argues that they need the technology to defend against another potential otherworldly threat while everyone else seems to disagree. The scene reminded me a great deal of the team arguing aboard the helicarrier in the first film but this does not feel like a rehash. In fact, AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON feels fresh in every glimpse we have seen so far.

I know many of you are avoiding these clips so that you can go into the movie fresh, but totally at just about five minutes of footage, these scenes deliver more hype for a movie that is bordering on overload and I am just fine with that. Visually, the movie looks crisper and bigger than it's predecessor without going over the top. This could be the rare sequel that improves upon the original in every way.

AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON opens in 17 days on May 1st.

I do wish they would knock it off. I would like to go into the movie without knowing 95% of the plot, and I have no self control, so if it's out there I will watch it. It seems like they've given away a lot, but the reviews all hint at a ton left to be discovered. I guess we'll see.

It's a bad sign why? Do you think there's ANY chance this movie doesn't deliver a huge, record-breaking opening weekend? If so, you disagree with virtually every industry expert on the planet. Given that fact, why would they show clips out of the sense of desperation you implied?

Not to mention Marvel has become notorious for exactly this practice during its run thus far, and it seems like they're doing pretty well.

Yeahhp I'm with you I remember the good old days when you had one trailer and that was it - now it's trailer 1, trailer 2, trailer 3, trailer 1 Japanese cut, clips, snippets, behind the scenes fuck man just stop messing around - especially since I hear the lady in the pool that was in one of th trailers has been cut - that really annoys me when you see a scene in a trailer and then it doesn't make the final cut

yep. like listen Marvel....when we are clamoring for footage...we clamor because you stay so tightlipped about everything and dont even show a picture. All we want is a cool teaser....an appetizing trailer and thats it. Magazine Covers and pictures here and there? Cool. Ten 2+ minute trailers, 5 clips, thirty 30second tv spots, etccc tooooooooooooo much

They are seriously giving away this entire movie before it's even out. Not watching this or any other recently released clips. I want at least some of the movie to be a surprise.
