Check out the opening of the mid-season premiere of The Walking Dead

It’s almost that time, as AMC’s The Walking Dead is about to return to small screens on a weekly basis. The mid-season premiere, aptly titled ‘What Happened and What’s Going On’, hits this coming Sunday and will undoubtedly bring in a record number of viewers to check out the aftermath of the mid-season finale. Now, I don’t know about you, but when AMC releases the entire opening of that episode to check out beforehand, I find it hard to turn my head away. For those interested, I’ve included the opening of the upcoming episode below.

As strange as it may sound, I think I’ve always enjoyed the openings the most in regards to The Walking Dead. They set up the tone of the show so well, and always get me pumped for what’s to come. Whether or not the rest of the episode delivers is another story, but by the time the opening credits end, I’m in full-on Walking Dead mode. Let’s see what they have in store for us come the latter half of season 5!
