The first press screening was held for Marvel's Phase 2-ending ANT-MAN, and the early reactions to the Peyton Reed-directed comic book movie are mostly positive, although there are a few who weren't impressed with the film. The Twitter reactions range from "another winner" from Marvel to "Not so much bad as it is blah," but all seem to agree that the credit scenes are pretty awesome. Yup, apparently we will be getting two end credit scenes with ANT-MAN.

Stitch Kingdom also bunch of new stills and behind-the-scenes images from the movie which you can check out below. ANT-MAN will be in theaters on July 17, 2015.

Post Credits Hype

Too much enthusiasm for the post credits scene. I care about the two hours before that

Yeah, I'll take this with a grain of salt. I saw the same positive comments about Guardians of the Galaxy which proved true, and then more positive comments for Age of Ultron, which was kind of a disappointment.

Looks great

I think this one will be a real fun watch!
A lot of naysayers are going to be surprised by this "little" guy.
Pun intended!

The 6 minutes of Ant-Man before Jurassic World were far less than impressive or interesting. Seeing the opening to films like The Dark Knight and Star Trek: Into Darkness were exciting. Ant-Man's 6 mins established nothing but cliche dialogue. As much as I like Paul Rudd, and I'm thrilled to see Rudd and not some Jai Courtney as the superhero, I want this film to fail. Marvel Films deserves to have a box office bomb. Big budget films are all centering around Marvel's success. Those who

Marvel Films deserves to have a box office bomb. Big budget films are all centering around Marvel's success. Those who complained that the CGI in Jurassic World looked awful compared to the original film have not figured it out. It's the same damn CGI as seen in all the Marvel films, which studios are looking to mimic as much as possible. Originality in big budget films is gone. Hollywood is plagued with all sequels, remakes/reboots, and comic book superhero flicks, and so many people wonder why but then they turn a blind eye to the source of the problem and don't realize having another successful box office Marvel film only makes things worse. If Ant-Man turns out to be a good film, then it was because I saw a good film, not because I walked into the theater with my review already prepped and written out.

Why does Marvels films deserve to have a box office bomb?? I don't understand that comment at all.

Soloist: Because in Hollywood, when one specific theme of movies is a success after success, every studio wants to cash in on the success and follow suite. Examples, the god-awful Twilight series, the awful Transformers series, now it's the sometimes good Marvel series. Original films are suffering tremendously, while films like Ant-Man (which is not an original film, and is in fact a possible tie in with all other Marvel films) get made quickly and easily using the same structure and style as

Original films are suffering tremendously, while films like Ant-Man (which is not an original film, and is in fact a possible tie in with all other Marvel films) get made quickly and easily using the same structure and style as all the other previous Marvel films in the last two years. Sure, some original films may not be a good as they were expected to be (Tomorrowland, Jupiter Ascending, 47 Ronin), but there are plenty of good/great ones that barely break even (John Wick, The Edge of Tomorrow) which has studios continuing to lose focus on big budget films that are not either a sequel, a remake or reboot, or based on a comic book/graphic novel. The excitement and thrill of seeing a superhero film is gone, they are simply too many of them and they are for the most part a repeat of another comic book hero. Studios don't want to invest on "risky" unfamiliar material when people are always going to the newest version of Marvel superhero, which is honestly the same repeated formula as all the others in the Marvel "Phase". How difficult is it to get an original story made in Hollywood today? Even Christopher Nolan in of The Dark Knight's global sucess had a difficult time getting Inception made, that's how awful things have gotten! This is not opinion it's fact. Look at the top grossing films of 1981, only 2 of the films that year were a sequel. Look at top grossing films of 2011, only 2 films were not a sequel and or a reboot, but they were Captain America and Thor.

I'm looking forward to the fact that he won't have to be saving the world this time around and the aspect that he's one of the few superheroes we will be seeing who is a parent as well. I think the relationship between Lang and his daughter will be the 'heart' to this film and trying to redeem himself in her eyes.

that's the most intelligent comment I have read in this website in a while !
200% agree
I was starting to be a little tired of all those superhero movies who save the day and then bang the hot girl, but your comment make me expecting Ant-Man a lot more now, cause I never thought about that !
Cheers

I'm seeing this for the Rudd.

I know this won't be the best Marvel movie, by far. But when you see Paul Rudd is Ant-Man in a heist movie, well you have to be excited in some sort of intrigued way.

I have already spent a small fortune on going to the movies this summer. But I'll be there for Ant-Man.

I'm really looking forward to this because it's something I'm completely unfamiliar with, and to my knowledge has never hit the silver screen, at least not in recent memory.

Meh.

None of those "critics" or press people have good taste and I've never taken any of those intellectual lightweights seriously. I'll wait to form my own opinion, as everybody should. I hope it's good...that's a great cast.

I don't think anyone is forming their opinion based on these tweets.

Good to hear it's living up to the hype, the only blemish is Mike Sampson who thought Age of Ultron was a modern cinema masterpiece. I enjoyed AoU but it was riddled with problems throughout, so I wouldn't put much weight in his words.

Bet 100$ that post credit scene is Spiderman and that they had chosen Tom Holland long ago and were just playing up the "sony and marvel contesting over actor" as a way to distract from it. (or no face reveal, just spidey swinging around or something)
