Gal Gadot shines in this new poster and trailer tease for Wonder Woman

The closer we get to the release of Patty Jenkin's WONDER WOMAN the more I feel like the three-headed-Hellhound Cerberus is tugging at my aspirations for this film. I love Diana, and want more than anything for her solo film to blow people out of the water and prove, beyond the shadow of any doubt, that a female-lead super hero film can be just as amazing as any other male or team-based venture.

Actually, let's all just take a moment to bask in the pure badassery of this new teaser trailer, shall we?

Additionally, WONDER WOMAN herself, Gal Gadot, stepped out of her armor to tease fans with yet another exciting announcement!

Recently, our own editor-in-chief Paul Shirey visited the editing bay of the film, and learned a whole bunch of cool tidbits relating to Diana's world of Themyscira in addition to several other details about the hotly-anticipated super hero epic. There's tons of great information in both of those features, so be sure to check them out.

Today, WONDER WOMAN herself, Gal Gadot, tweeted out a gorgeous new poster for the film. I've got to say, this might be my favorite piece of art for the movie yet. It warms my heart to see that Warner Bros.isn't going with a "chest forward and ass first" approach to presenting DC's legendary Amazonian princess, but is instead choosing to present her as commanding, regal, and not to be trifled with.

You can get an eye full of the new and beautiful poster below:

WONDER WOMAN will deflect bullets and lasso the truth out of villains in theaters on June 2nd, 2017.

Extra Tidbit: If you're itching to read some quality Wonder Woman comics, I strongly recommend the latest Wonder Woman Rebirth run from creators Greg Rucka, Nicola Scott and Liam Sharp.

This is a mean comment. I do want the Wonder Woman movie to rule the summer and revitalize the DC Universe at the box office.
However, I cannot help but think. After Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad, WB is praying that the above poster does not depict Wonder Woman taking a crap (or "laying an egg" if you will). LOL.

Oh sure, and the BvS posters where Bats & Supes are facing each other are two guys who are about to passionately kiss, amirite?

It's way to similar to the Weezer logo.

I'd be pissed if I was Rivers Cuomo

A simple Google search would tell you that this is an alteration from the original Wonder Woman logo from the 70's. The Weezer logo came WAY after that one. So, no. I don't think Rivers Cuomo is pissed.
