Get ready to vote!!!

The 2006 award season
has started and on Monday, January 15th, so will our own annual JoBlo.com Movie Awards
(aka The Golden Schmoes)
in which YOU get to choose the nominees and YOU
eventually get to choose all of the winners as well.

For anyone who
doesn’t know how the Golden Schmoes work, CLICK
HERE for instructions. This year will be our 6th Annual Golden
Schmoes awards, and as of last year, we now have an official
site on which we note all of the past winners and ultimately,
this year’s nominees for voting. Our very awesome graphic designer,
Fran, has also designed a neat official poster for this year’s
ceremonies, which you can see below.

Starting Monday, every member
of our board will be able to vote for their favorites in our GOLDEN
SCHMOES forum, from January 15th until January 26th
(everyone only gets 1 vote during that period). After that, we will
close the forum, count up all of your votes and whittle it down to 5
nominations per category, so that everyone can vote on their
favorites from the finalists, come early February.

All that to say that if
you haven’t subscribed to our forums yet (which automatically gives
you presence on MyJoBlo.com as
well), do it now, baby!! You can remind yourselves of all the films
from 2006 HERE,
