Green band trailer for Jerome Sable’s musical slasher Stage Fright

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

We've been seeing alot this week from Jerome Sable's musical slasher STAGE FRIGHT, which is heading towards its premiere at SXSW this weekend. Earlier this week we brought you a very groovy retro-styled poster for the flick, which we followed up a day later with a red-band trailer that was worth singing about. Now we've gotten our hands on the green-band trailer for STAGE FRIGHT, which you can check out below. I'm hoping this one will have us singing its praises once it hits iTunes and On Demand on April 3, followed by a theatrical release on May 9.

STAGE FRIGHT is about a starry-eyed teenager Camilla Swanson who aspires to follow in the footsteps of her Broadway diva mother. Instead she's stuck working in the kitchen of a snobby performing arts camp. Determined to change her destiny, she sneaks in to audition for the summer showcase and lands a lead role in the play, but just as rehearsals begin, blood starts to spill, and Camilla soon finds herself terrified by the horror of musical theater.

The film stars Allie MacDonald and Douglas Smith, with Minnie Driver and Meat Loaf, and was produced by Ari Lantos and Jonas Bell Pasht of Serendipity Point Films.
