Life Ryan Reynolds

Ryan Reynolds has reteamed with his SAFE HOUSE director Daniel Espinosa and his DEADPOOL writers Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese for the sci-fi thriller LIFE, which centers on

the crew of the International Space Station, who are tasked with studying a sample from Mars that may be the first proof of extraterrestrial life. And that life proves more intelligent than ever expected.

Reynolds is joined in the cast by Jake Gyllenhaal, Rebecca Ferguson, Olga Dykhovichnaya, Ariyon Bakare, and Hiroyuki Sanada.

LIFE is scheduled for a May 26, 2017 theatrical release, and just under seven months out domestic and international trailers have been released that give us a look at the film without really telling us very much. It sets up the story and shows that things are going to be getting very intense, but still keeps the secret of how exactly this alien life form is going to wreak havoc. Whatever is going on, there's definitely an ALIEN vibe there, and even some sound effects reminiscent of ALIEN in the international trailer. Along with a quote from JURASSIC PARK.

LIFE has my attention. I look forward to seeing more.
