Russo Brothers announce Avengers 4 has officially wrapped

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Last summer, Marvel fans everywhere found themselves gutted over the brutally abrupt ending of the Russo Brothers' AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR. The first film in a two-part series, audiences were shocked to see such iconic superheroes as Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman), Star-Lord (Chris Pratt), Spider-Man (Tom Holland), Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and the Star Lord (Chris Pratt) quite literally bite the dust as their bodies were suddenly swept away by the wind. Thanos (Josh Brolin) successfully gathered all of the stones for the Infinity Gauntlet, and with a snap of his fingers, split the world in two — the dead and the spared. Then the screen went blank. The end credits rolled. We were left to wait until the next movie to see if our heroes survived.

Luckily, the end is in sight. Earlier today, the Russo Brothers relayed a simple but strong message on their Twitter account — the single word "#wrapped" with an unclear image attached. Clearly, filming on AVENGERS 4 has finally wrapped, but what does the cryptic image mean? Could it be Steve Rodgers casket? Is it a hidden superhero, yet to be introduced to the AVENGERS formula? Let us know your thoughts below.
