Sexy Spaniard Paz Vega joins Paul Schrader’s The Jesuit

Writer/Director Paul Schrader’s (BRINGING OUT THE DEAD, AFFLICTION, TAXI DRIVER) upcoming ensemble drama THE JESUIT just got a little bit sexier with the addition of the breathtakingly gorgeous Paz Vega (THE SPIRIT, SEX AND LUCIA).

According to Variety, the film focuses on “a man nicknamed ‘the Jesuit,’ who is imprisoned for a crime he didn’t commit. When his wife is murdered and his son kidnapped and taken to Mexico, he devises an elaborate and dangerous plan to rescue his son and avenge the murder.”

Vega will likely be joining thespians Willem Dafoe (ANTICHRIST), Oscar Isaac (ROBIN HOOD‘s Prince John), and Michelle Rodriguez (MACHETE), all of whom are in final negotiations to come aboard the film.

Schrader’s last movie was 2007’s THE WALKER, which starred Woody Harrelson and Kristin Scott Thomas. After THE JESUIT, Schrader’s in-development projects include THE DYING OF THE LIGHT and XTRME CITY.
