To be honest, I didn't even realize they were making a fourth movie.

So imagine my surprise when I see that there is a new SHREK trailer in my inbox. This installment is titled, SHREK FOREVER AFTER. Is it good? If I was six it would make me spaz out like I just had 12 Kool-Aid juice boxes. The adult in me is not amused really. The only thing that did it for me was Puss in Boots sliding down the cat scratching post. Nothing really tops the first film in the series.

FOREVER AFTER starts off with Shrek's happy domestic life with his wife, Fiona and their green babies. Everyone's having a swell time, but secretly Shrek is unfulfilled with life. The poor guys gone from reluctant hero to autographing pitch forks. In trying to get back to his glory days, the ogre signs a pact with Rumpelstiltskin, who creates a twisted, alternative Far Far Away. Things are different: ogres are hunted, Rumpelstiltskin is king, and Fiona has never met Shrek. Now, he must try to find a way to get everything back to normal. Dreamworks is so ****ing overrated! Shrek 4? Talk about cash cow! At least there's a demand for another Toy Story! Pixar rules! Dreamworks sucks!

Wow that looks like crap! The only part of the trailer that is remotely funny is the fat Puss. Please stop making these damn movies. They will never be as good as the first one. That was lightning in a bottle!

It has a much better plot than the 3rd movie, to be sure. It can't match the awesomeness of the first film, but it might have its moments.

Um,guys, I don't remember Dreamworks ever making any grandiose promises and I've been a fan since Antz and Prince of Egypt. Pixar is overrated and of course they can't rule forever. Dreamworks is poised to take that crown. Toy Story 3? Talk about cash cow! At least there's demand for another Shrek! It's one of the greatest film series of this decade. All the Dreamworks Animation haters...

I don't hate Shrek. I don't hate Dreamworks. I just don't think we need 4 Shreks. The 3rd one was terrible. I liked the first two, though. And I want to see the Puss spinoff. And... Toy Story rocks.

kinda makes me sad that this will be tha last Shrek film... but excited for this one, the plot sounds more appealing than the Third film, will probably check it out.

Oh no...this will be one of the two films on the marquee at the Drive-In this summer for probably 3 weeks! "sigh" every year at least 1 kiddie film has one of the two features tied up on average 2 weeks every month. I just get bored with it personally-but hey,I'm not a preteen so...and the venue does draw good attendance = $$$ for these animation films.
