The franchise stays alive - Paranormal Activity 5 set for release in 2013
On October 25th, 2013, you will have a choice: you can either continue the tradition of jump scares and cults getting caught on camera wrecking shit up late at night, or you can catch the final entry in Edgar Wright's "Blood and Ice Cream" trilogy. That's right, October 2013 is going to play host to a battle of box office dollars between PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 5 and THE WORLD'S END. So plan ahead, because for you fans of both franchises? Well, let's just say that I definitely don't envy you. Or you could just see them both, I suppose. There's that too.
Nothing is known yet about the sequel to PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 4, even so far as whether the movie's directing duo of Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman (PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 3) will return once more or how the movie's story will be tied into the grand scheme built up over the last four entries.
Stay tune for further updates. If PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 5 follows a schedule at all similar to PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 4, you can expect the movie to announce a lead actor or actress soon and the marketing campaign to commence around late spring of 2013. Stay tune for more details!
